We are a comic shop located in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialize in comic books, new & old, graphic novels, comic supplies, action figures, and related products and merchandise.

Placing the order
Items listed on our website are available based on the last upload date of the site.

Shipping method & cost within South Africa
Shipping cost in South Africa is a flat fee of R35.00 irrespective of the size/value of the order. Parcels are sent using SA Post Office Parcel Plus and includes insurance & handling. (The Post Office delivers a notification slip to the postal address you supplied to collect the parcel from your nearest Post Office) Allow about 7 working days for delivery. Alternatively , you may use a courier service - contact us for more info. This shipping fee will be added to your order total.

Payment
All payments must be in South African currency (Rands). We prefer payment by direct bank deposit or internet banking. Credit card payment (Mastercard & Visa) may also be arranged - please contact us for details. Once you have placed an order, we will hold the items for 7 days only, until payment is received. Please confirm payment by emailing or faxing the bank transaction slip. Otherwise, confirm that you have made payment by telephone. The moment payment clears, orders are shipped the same or next business day.

Final order confirmation
If you supply us with a valid email address we will send you the order confirmation with a tracking number for your parcel. We can also supply you with the tracking number by contacting us telephonically.

International shipping
At this time we only ship to countries in Southern Africa. Contact us for shipping details.

Ordering items not listed on our site

If there is a comic, graphic novel, action figure or any related item that you would like to purchase that is not on our site, we may be able to specially order it for you. This depends on availability from our suppliers and requires a deposit of 30%-50% of the retail value. The balance is payable when the item arrives. Special orders usually take about 2-6 weeks.

Subscriptions / Ordering an Ongoing Title

Advance Orders
Comics are ordered two months in advance. Therefore you will only receive your first items two months after you have placed your order.

Standing Orders
Orders may be placed for ongoing titles (usually monthly). This means your comics are reserved and you have to collect them on a regular basis i.e. monthly.

Subscription order deposit
A deposit is required for orders because we are committed to an advance ordering system from the publishers. This is a once-off payment , which remains with us for the duration of your order , and is refundable upon cancellation. This deposit is required as follows:

1-3 titles R 50
4-6 titles R 100
7-10 titles R 150
11-15 titles R 200
16-20 titles R 250
21-30 titles R 350

If you add or cancel ongoing title/s, your deposit will be adjusted accordingly

Cancellation
If and when you cancel your order , you are still obligated to pick up your comics for the following two months. Your deposit will then be returned, or deducted from the last items collected.

Please note that should you fail to collect your comics after two months , your order will automatically be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. If you cannot collect your comics every second month then notify us and other arrangements can be made.

Mail order subscription
For those of you who cannot visit our store can still subscribe to monthly titles by mail order. All above rules apply. The shipping fee (R35) will be added to your monthly order total.
